St. Therese Religious Education (STRE) ~ Kinder-8th grade

 Jesus said, “Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

This ministry is for the education and enrichment of the public school children in our community.  It includes a two-year program to prepare students (normally our First- and Second-Graders) to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. It also provides continuing religious education for Grades 3 through 8, as well as pre-school (for those who are potty-trained) and Kindergarten programs.

Classes are held weekly on Sundays, beginning with attendance--by the students and their families--at the 9:00 a.m. Mass, followed by class from 10:15 until 11:45 a.m. The program runs from September through May.  

REGISTRATION:  Registration for STRE and Confirmation will be held after the Sunday morning Masses on August 20.  OR... get your form online, fill it out, and bring it to the office along with a0.  

STRE (Grade School, including First Holy Communion): Click HERE for a REGISTRATION FORM.  Submit this form with a copy of your child's baptism certificate (and, if applicable, with a copy of your child's First Communion certificate) and the fees. For the 2023-2024 school year, the first class will be on Sunday, September 10, from 10:15 to 11:45 a.m. 

YOUTH CONFIRMATION (High school age): Click HERE for a REGISTRATION FORM.  Submit this form with a copy of your child's baptism certificate (and, if applicable, with a copy of your child's First Communion certificate) and the fees. For the 2023-2024 school year, the first class will be on Wednesday, September 13 (Year One is in Room 7; Year Two is in Room 8).
